As of March 5 SR 971 South Lakeshore Road remains closed between milepost 9.1 and 11.5 (Lake Chelan State Park to intersection with Scenic Ranch Lane west of junction with US 97A) due to rockslide. There is no estimated time to reopen. Local traffic should detour on SR 971 Navarre Coulee Road.
If you are traveling to Fields Point Landing to catch the ferry, plan for additional travel time due to the closure. Use SR 971 Navarre Coulee Road as a detour, and be aware that delays may occur.
